This all-day seminar explains why there is stormwater regulation, what requirements are imposed by the Clean Water Act and EPA regulations, how the regulated community responds to the requirements, and what happens when there is noncompliance. Larry’s presentation covers the hydrology of stormwater, the structure of stormwater regulation imposed by the Clean Water Act, the problems that arise from the specific requirements imposed (using California’s general construction stormwater permit as an example), and some ways of avoiding trouble.
